The ski jumping events at the 2002 Winter Olympics were held at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, USA. There were three individual events: the normal hill (K90), the large hill (K120), and the team event (with jumps from both hills).
Simon Ammann of Switzerland won both individual events, becoming the first ski jumper to win two gold medals in a single Olympics since 1980. Adam Malysz of Poland won the bronze medal in both individual events, while Sven Hannawald of Germany won the silver medal on the normal hill and Andreas Widhölzl of Austria won the silver on the large hill.
In the team event, Germany won the gold medal, with Austria taking silver and Finland taking bronze. Each team consisted of four jumpers, with each jumper taking two jumps from both the normal and large hills.
There were a total of 67 athletes from 19 different countries who competed in the ski jumping events at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
